With the Do It Yourself package from Label my Light you are one step closer to your own candle company. With the contents of this package you ultimately provide a wonderfully scented scented candle. Ideal for a children's party or a bachelor party with your girlfriends. The contents of this package take you step by step through the process of candle making. A short description of the DIY scented candle package:
- Heat the wax in a pan or in a bowl on not too high a heat.
- Make sure wax is completely melted. The wax will melt at 50 degrees, but ideally heat it to 70 degrees. Handy if you have a small thermometer so you can measure this.
- At about 70 degrees, pour wax into the cup and add the oil to the wax. Then stir this well for 1 minute.
- Then let this stand for a few minutes, when you notice that the wax is starting to become a bit cloudy, pour the wax into the glass. You have now provided this glass with a wick which is included.
- Use the clothespin to fix the wick in the middle of the jar.
- After about 1 hour you will notice that the candle has completely solidified and you can remove the clothespin.
- Your scented candle is now largely ready. Don't forget the safety sticker and the label and then enjoy your homemade scented candle.
